Early 1900s Radioptican and Magic Lantern Slide Projector

An Early 1900’s Radioptican Image Projector by C. White. Projects any picture or printed material onto a screen or wall. Has adjustable telescoping focusing lens. Made in North Beddington, Vermont. The 19th century ‘Gloria’ Magic Lantern projector is by Ernst Planck of Germany. The magic lanterns projected hand-painted or photographic glass slides, which were inserted into the projector one at a time for small audiences to view together. A skilled projectionist could move them quickly, making the screen images appear to move. Item is untested.
