A signed Cal Schenkel album cover giclee art print that was designed for the ‘Las Mothers- Just Another Band from L.A.’ live album recorded by Frank Zappa and The Mothers of Invention at the Pauley Pavillion, UCLA in 1971 and released in 1972. This piece has a vintage red truck filled with the musicians and a guitar neck sticking out of the roof. The truck is sitting atop a large cheeseburger. In the upper right corner is the Bizzarre Records label and the release number, 2075, underneath. The piece is signed and dated 2001 in the lower right corner and is inscribed, ‘For Billy Thanks!’ in the upper right corner. Cal Schenkel is famous for designing several of Frank Zappa’s album covers as well as for other bands such as The Grand Wazoo, Big Brother and the Holding Company and more.
