A gorgeous example of an early 20th century Herschede electric grandfather clock. Herschede clocks were some of the finest in the world and were made in Cincinnati. This clock is constructed of solid wood in a dark stain with split pediment bonnet and fanned finial; Arabic numbers on the clock face with a moon dial above; key lock door with key houses the visible hardware and pendulum; toe molding on the base. Comes with decades’ worth of repair and maintenance records kept by the previous owner. It is truly an exquisite piece in working condition.
