A circa 1915-1920s Silvertone hand crank phonograph, distributed by Sears and Roebuck. This phonograph is housed in a lovely quarter sawn oak cabinet that has two doors concealing eight shelves for record storage and a hinged top with lock and key. The cabinet has caster wheels for easy moving. Acanthus leaves on the edges of the cabinet add a decorative touch, as does the swag style fretwork over the interior mounted horn.. This phonograph features a hand crank spring driven motor, speed adjustment, interior horn, and a stop/start lever. Comes with extra needles and an original Silvertone record brush. Item powered on when tested.
Condition
Lock does not engage when key is turned. Minor chips to fretwork on speaker cabinet.
