Item Details
A vintage ceramic rice bowl by Petrus Regout & Company. This large footed bowl is finish with a black painting of a man and woman with a parasol on the interior and a decorative rim. The exterior is even more elaborately painted with a similar image and boats in the distance. The bowl is marked ‘Petrus Regout & Company, Maastricht, Pajong, made in Holland.’
Condition
Wear consistent with age and use. Crack on side. Lots of staining.
