An antique Reed & Barton silver plated soup tureen with elk motif. This tureen is detailed with elk head and hoof on all four legs. The base includes geometric etchings and flared squared handles. A full elk lid finial tops the tureen lid. Tureen is marked Reed & Barton Silver Plate #2245 on bottom.

Condition

Lid elk finial/handle is broken at front leg and antler, with visible repairs on other legs. No ladle is included.
