Tiffin Black Satin Glass Bowl, Compote and Covered Dish
Item Details
An elegant selection of sleek black satin glass by Tiffin. These are the same pattern as those in lot 15CIN157-242 that have remnants of gold foil USG (United States Glass consortium) stickers, used on Tiffin pieces between 1900-1927. This selection features a beautiful lidded compote with knopped pedestal stem, a lovely lidded bowl, and an open serving bowl. Each piece has a glossy band featuring spare but colorful enameled lines connecting thinner gilt contour lines. (Note that on this lot there are no remnants of the gold foil USG label.)
Condition
Lidded bowl has some wear to inner gilt edging where lid rests on body. The compote has some adhesive residue to underside of foot.

Size of footed compote without lid. Lid adds 3" to height.
