"Lovers" Original oil on Canvas by Paula Guild

An original oil on canvas titled Lovers by Paula Guild. This piece features a simplified, stylized depiction of two figures mid-embrace surrounded by almost bloom like fields of warm pinks, reds, and oranges. Work is signed in upper right hand corner by the artist. Guild is a long-time resident of Cincinnati. She studied at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, and is known for her Abstract Expressionist works which exemplify her fluid use of movement and bold, vibrant colorscapes.
