A pair of Dresden Alt Meissen Parian wall plaques, circa 1934. Rococo style pieces, they depict pastoral scenes of courting couples. In high relief bisque Parian porcelain these pieces capture the charm and wit of the Rococo period where the ladies and gents entertained themselves in the grand gardens of the Rococo castles. Presented against a sky blue field of porcelain and housed in deep gold gilded wood frames. The Dresden cross mark is incised and incorporated in the Rococo curvature pattern to bottom.
