19c Single Shot Percussion Cap Boot Pistol

Item Details

A handsome little pistol, mid 19th century, seemingly British, with a Birmingham proof mark on the barrel and adjacent to the trigger guard. The piece is a percussion cap, .36 caliber boot pistol, the barrel able to be removed from the frame by a screw-turned thread, walnut single piece grip.

Condition

The handle and frame are slightly misaligned, general wear to both handle and frame, 70% blue remaining.
