Item Details
An original 1901 brick from the Indianapolis 500 Brickyard is featured in this lot. This brick comes in a display case with a white plaque; the plaque has the Motor Speedway logo and it says, ’ Origional Piece of the Brickyard Brick From The Indianapolis Motor Speedway Built & Dedicated 12/17/1909’. The brick has a vintage ‘W. C. Culver Block Pat. May 21, 1901’ engraved. The brick is loose under the cover. There is a certificate of authenticity giving the history of the brick’s design.
