A group of Kentucky Derby glasses are highlighted in this lot. There are two 1972, two 1973, four 1975 and two plastic 1986 cups in all. The glasses (excludes the 1986 cups) feature illustrations of horses racing, grandstands and listings of the previous winners. Secretariat won the coveted Triple Crown in 1973 and he set the race record for the Kentucky Derby, the Preakness and the Belmont that year, records that still stand today. The 1986 cups are plastic and are called, ‘The Unofficial Kentucky Derby Cup’; this cup has the last place finishers listed from 1875 to 1985.
