An original Impressionist style landscape oil painting by ‘Indish’-Indonesian artist, Earnest Dezentje (1885-1972). This landscape painting depicts a stately tree with two figures underneath. Born of Dutch European parents, Dezentje dedicated his life to catching the incredible beauty of Indonesian landscapes. He was also the court painter to the first President of the Republic of Indonesia. Painting is signed Ern. Dezentje on lower right. Art is mounted in a green wood frame with gold tone interior and exterior edge, and framed by Hong Kong frame-maker Wah Cheong.
