A signed aquatint by Indiana artist George Engle. A small field mouse timidly pauses to look up a the viewer in this charming aquatint. Titled Timid Mouse lower left, signed by artist in pencil lower right. Displayed in wood frame with gray mat. George Engle (1932-1983) was born in New Albany, Indiana and studied art at Indiana University and the University of Louisville.
Condition
Piece sits loose in frame. There is some foxing along mat and print edges.
