A petite cherry dresser by Young-Hinkle from the ‘Cherry House’ line. Young-Hinkle, a division of Lexington Furniture Industries based in Lexington, North Caroline, specialized in young boys bedroom furniture in the 1950s and 1960s. This dresser features six drawers with modified batwing plate and bail pulls. The drawers, constructed with machine-cut dovetailed joints, have solid fronts with sides made of a lightweight wood. The back of the dresser is particle board. The inside of the top, right drawer is marked with the company name.
