A photograph of Mine that Bird, winner of the 135th Kentucky Derby with jockey Calvin Borel up. It was recognized as one of the biggest upsets in Derby history when Mine that Bird beat the crowd favorite Pioneer of the Nile to bring home the trophy on a 50-to-1 odds. Mine that Bird, while having bloodline ties to Northern Dancer through both his dam and sire, was purchased for less than $10,000 at Fasig Tipton’s October Yearling Sale in 2007. The photograph is double matted with green and black under glass with a molded wood frame.

Condition

Very minor scratches in the frame. Photograph in good shape.
