Antique Botanical Engraving by Abraham Munting
Item Details
A hand tinted, antique engraving titled Majorana Origantis from the Dutch doctor and botanist Abraham Munting’s Naaukeurige Beschriyving Der Aardgewassen, published thirteen years after his death in 1695. A lovely symmetrical print presented behind French mat, under glass, in a wood frame with delicately painted golden flowers. A certificate of authenticity is attached to the verso.

- condition is consistent with age. Overall discoloration throughout image area.
