Item Details
An 1890 Russian silver Cortébert jump digital pocket watch. The round watch features an ornate engraved foliate front and back case, one side with a blank monogram cartouche, twist crown and hinged bow. The glass watch face is enameled white with gold gilt trim, a jump digital hour and minute view and a rotating second hand. The case is marked Russian silver 0.875/84 and case number 581618. The serial number cannot be provided as the back will not open. The total silver weight is 3.405 ozt. (including other material).
Condition
- the watch was running at the time of cataloging, but its function could not be tested. Scratches and tarnish. The back case will not open.
