Early Cromwellian Period Armchair
Item Details
An early Cromwellian armchair, which appears to retain its original embossed leather back, leather seat and seat webbing. The twist-turned walnut frame is mortised and shows hand tool marks. Continental, circa late 17th century or early 18th century.
