A Litho Plate Slated Blackboard by Richmond School Furniture Co. This child-sized blackboard, circa 1940s, sits in an easel frame. At the top, an educational scroll, copyrighted 1939 and 1947, features multiplication tables, the alphabet, animals, and more to be scrolled through with red wooden knobs on the right side of the easel. The blackboard flips down to create a green slate writing surface with a wooden organizer.

Condition

The paper scroll shows a couple cracks but is intact. The knobs are in working condition. The chipboard backing has come loose. Wear around the edges of the easel consistent with age and use.
