Antique Iron Porter Hay Trolley
Item Details
An antique iron Porter hay trolley. This piece of farm equipment would roll on its four wheels along a track inside the barn, and assist in moving hay bales into the loft. The item is marked ‘H49’ and with the patent date of 1906 to the bottom and ‘Porter’ to the top. There is another bracket piece with a rotating square and a pulley that is marked ‘H98’.
