Pope Gosser China Set

A set of china featuring the ‘St. Regis’ pattern by Pope Gosser. Based in Ohio, Pope Gosser produced china from approximately 1908-1958. This partial set features a pink and green floral band around the rim with gold-toned edging. The set includes: a covered soup tureen, a gravy boat and saucer, a creamer, a sugar bowl, an oval serving bowl, an oval serving plate, seven tea cups, six saucers, five fruit bowls, five bread plates, and six dinner plates. The bottoms of the pieces are marked with a couple of different Pope Gosser marks; some bear the Pope Gosser name under a soup tureen, a mark introduced in the 1940s, and others bear the Pope Gosser name within a wreath, a mark introduced in the 1950s.

Condition

Wear consistent with age and use.
