Two Vintage Barometers Including a Fitzroy Storm Glass Barometer
Item Details
A selection of two vintage barometers. One barometer includes a thermometer, and is enclosed in a glass fronted case, marked Admiral Fitzroy Storm Glass Barometer. Storm glass is a type of weather forecasting device, developed by Admiral Fitzroy. Both gauges include brass ends and the storm glass has a red wax seal. The round barometer in the wood case with handle, was made in Western Germany. Neither barometers have been tested.
