An unframed Ray Harm Red-Headed Woodpecker print. Features the artist’s signature to bottom right. Harm (1926- ) is an American artist whom specializes in wildlife depictions. Originally born in West Virginia, Harm moved to Texas during his teenage years. He was able to join art school after he served in World War II due to the GI Bill. In the early 1960s, Harm happened upon a man from Louisville, Kentucky named Wood Hannah. Hannah teamed up with Harm with the brilliant idea of limited edition prints. Whilst Harm does not produce today as he used to during his prime, he still continues to work from his settlement located in Arizona.
