A limited edition etching, signed by Samuel Donovan, a.k.a. ‘Don Swann’ (Baltimore, 1889 – 1954), a Maryland artist and etcher who dedicated most of his fine art to historic Americana, particularly views of his native state. Swann’s etchings can be seen in the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the United States Naval Museum, the Library of Congress and the Smithsonian Institution. This framed piece is limited to 83/300, signed and numbered in pencil, it depicts a castle ruin with foliage in abundance. Presented behind glass with neutral surround and gold colored wood frame.
