Original oil on canvas by artist Rudyard Kipling (American, b. 1924) titled ‘The Oregon Trail’. This grand piece of work features four men standing in the foreground with a dead horse taken down by arrows lying off to the side and a line of horse drawn wagons in the background. With beautiful streaking clouds against a blue sky. This piece is signed by the artist to the lower right. It is framed in a gorgeous substantial mahogany frame with cut out sides. There is an attached brass plaque to the bottom of the frame.

Condition

The artwork is very good. The frame does have some nicks but is in good overall condition.
