Poschinger Art Nouveau Glass Vase

Item Details

A gorgeous antique art glass vase in the Art Nouveau style, by the Poschinger glass company of Bavaria, circa late-19th to early. It features a lip which is downturned at five points, and a rounded body in colorless glass shot through with threads and veins of purple, connecting several purple blobs inset into dimples in the glass. The underside of the piece is flat and circular, and bears the Poschinger mark as well as the initials ‘MW’. A page with a short history of Poschinger glass is included.
