French Iron Day Bed

Item Details

A charming French day bed, constructed of wrought iron and having a decorative frontal rail with elegantly scrolled detail, between a cast iron ornamental plaque, of a ribboned cartouche. The bed retains original pink paint and metal casters. Circa 1885-95. Will accommodate a mattress size of 36’ by 72’.

Condition

- retains original paint with surface rust. Two side rods are lose at the bottom, needing a welded repair.
