Hand-Painted Indian Trunk from Rajasthan

Item Details

A beautifully hand-painted Indian trunk from Rajasthan. The trunk is crafted with ornately painted patterns and exquisitely cut brass details. It has a rounded lid, two brass handles, and four black tapered legs. The interior of the trunk consists of a large compartment with a small shelf to the side and a chain to hold the lid open (no longer attached).

Condition

- some surface wear, some cracking at the base, the interior chain is broken.
