An antique walnut Jacobean child’s chair. Ornate cresting with carvings descending to frame the upholstered splat and resuming across the front seat rail. Silk brocade upholstery. Beautiful barley twist detail on stiles. Cabriole front legs with decorative knees and whorl feet.

Condition

Sturdy construction, but has some evidence of old insect damage to wood beneath seat. Marker lines on seat upholstery.
