An intricately detailed original pencil drawing of Lake Hope Lodge by Ohio artist, Lydia M. Reeder (b. 1885). The lodge is depicted nestled in its natural forested setting with landscaping as built at Lake Hope State Park in Vinton County, Ohio. The piece is titled in pencil to the lower left and signed to the lower right. The drawing is framed under glass in an oak frame with a cream mat and a black edge, setting off the lines of the drawing. There is a hanger on the back. Lake Hope State Park is surrounded by the Zaleski State Forest. Laura M. Reeder was born in Ohio in 1885 and resided in Columbus, Franklin County in the early twentieth century. She had a greeting card company (Little Gem Greetings) and exhibited at the Ohio State Fair.
