A 1977 Faulkner: Opera House exhibition poster for the work and performance of Kentucky-born bohemian artist and performer Henry Lawrence Faulkner (1924-1981). Faulkner was known for his eccentric performances, his vibrant and unique paintings, and for being the possible lover of writer Tennessee Williams, one of his contemporaries. This lime green poster featuring the art of Faulkner advertises his one-man exhibit on November 1, in which Faulkner read his poetry, sang Blues and showed his paintings. It is presented on a black mat with a black frame.
