A large original pastel landscape painting signed by listed artist Andrew Severin Gunderson (United States, 1888-1964) to lower left. Wonderful autumnal country landscape is presented in a large gold antiqued frame, oriented horizontally. Gunderson is a celebrated early 20th century pastel artist. Decal affixed to back suggests this work was professionally framed by Vilas Mages of Chicago.
Condition
some pastel has transferred to the inside of the glass in a couple spots.
