A lithograph titled Daybreak by Maxfield Parrish, published by the company House of Art in 1922. It is based on the original painting, also by Maxfield Parrish. By the time of its creation, Parrish was considered a leading American artist and illustrator. This piece is considered a historic and important reproduction in the history of American art due to its great popularity and enormous commercial success. It depicts two figures, one nude and standing, the other clothed and laying down, between columns in front of mountains and trees. The print is presented behind glass in its original Art Deco gilt frame with a label affixed to the reverse with title and artist.
