Vintage Forestville Anniversary Clock
Item Details
A vintage anniversary clock, made in Germany by the Forestville Clock Company. Originally, the Blackforest Clock Company was founded 1928 in Toronto, Canada. The company imported and sold German-made clocks. WWII and difficulty importing from Germany prompted the name change to the Forestville Clock Company. Around the 1950s, Forestville resumed importing clocks such as this one from Germany. The clock has a painted metal face and brass parts. The back is stamped ‘Forestville Clock Co. Made in Germany’. The clock sits under a glass dome and is untested.
Condition
The glass dome is chipped around the edges. The clock is untested.
