A vintage Romweber sofa, model R-13491, from the Viking Oak collection with grapevine motif carving across front and sides and loose cushions. Constructed with through tenon joinery. Comes with two full sets of cushions (12 total) in two different fabrics. Romweber of Batesville, Indiana was created from a previous merger of three companies that began in 1879, The Batesville Cabinet Company, The American Furniture Company, and The Batesville Coffin Company. The company’s Viking Oak collection was the furniture industry’s longest continually produced furniture line, being produced from the 1930s to the 1980s. The collection was inspired by Scandinavian folk art, and features well built, high end craftsmanship. You can find a matching chair in lot#15CIN039-038.
