WWII Naval recognition Models

WOW! A rare complete set of WWII Navy recognition models, used as a training tool or spotter kit for the US Navy. Made in 1943 by H.A. Framburg & Co. out of Chicago, this set is in the original fitted gray wooden box to hold 29 1/1200 scale models of different British ships, all metal ships are painted gray and are mounted and labeled on individual thin boards. The wooden box is stenciled at the top ‘US Miniature – British Ship Models’. Ships included are: Tyne, Leander, Fiji, Royal Sovereign, Emerald, Hunt, Cumberland, South Hampton, Black Swan, River Class Freight, Scylla, Dido, Dragon, Warspite, Illustrious, Furious, Hawkins, Arethusa, L Class, L Class DD, Tribal, Reknown, King George V, Nelson, Malaya, Queen Elizabeth, Devonshire, H Class, Admiralty VW.

Condition

All ships are accounted for and the box is in very good original condition. Several ships have flaking paint.
