Joe Nuxhall Cincinnati Reds Batting Practice Jersey
Item Details
A Joe Nuxhall Cincinnati Reds ‘Batting Practice’ Jersey is featured in this lot. Joe Nuxhall was the youngest player to ever appear in a Major League baseball game at the age of 15 years old. Joe pitched in the Majors for sixteen years, then he became the Reds radio broadcaster, working side by side with Marty Brennaman. Joe would sometimes pitch batting practice for the Reds, especially when the Reds were on the road. This is a ‘road’ Jersey, the tags are Wilson. Scarce baseball relic from the ‘Old Lefthander.’

Condition
- minor use; Jersey numbers are not original to the Jersey; Joe’s number was added by the Reds to the jersey, which is not usual, because it was used just for batting practice. Best to attend our Preview for a personal assessment.
