A Hawaiian monkey pod wood server. What a great vintage souvenir piece. This mid-century server is not only cool to look at, it is a fully functioning lazy Susan with removable dishes for nuts, candy and the like. This server disassembles for storage but looks so wonderful as a centerpiece. Each tier has carved details, the lowest is carved ‘Hawaii’. Monkey pod wood is a tropical hardwood with a golden reddish tone and ages quite beautifully.
