A pairing of Herend hand-painted Rothschild Bird pattern china and more. The Herend pieces include a demitasse cup and a petite creamer, styled with a gold accented scalloped edge, embossed basket weave pattern, and bird and insect motif. This pattern was first created in 1860 for the Rothschild family of Europe and tells the story of Baroness Rothschild, who lost her pearl necklace in the garden, later to be found by a gardener who saw birds playing with it in a tree. Also, a coordinating set of eight reproduction Worcester demitasse saucers, also with a gold decorated scalloped edge in a floral pattern. All are marked to the underside.
Condition
- overall, wear consistent with age. The petite creamer is fair with a branch broken to the top of the handle.

- measures the creamer. The demitasse cup is 2.25"H and the saucers are 1"H x 4.5"W.
