A very attractive Negro League Commemorative jersey of the Indianapolis Clowns comprises this lot. The jersey is blue with red lettering. ‘NLBM’ (Negro League Baseball Museum) is in large letters above the number ‘44’ on the back of the jersey. ‘INDIANAPOLIS’ is spelled out on one sleeve and ‘INDY Clowns’ with crossed bats adorn the other sleeve. The origianl NLBM tag is still attached. The #44 on the jersey probably refers to Hank Aaron’s number as he played for the Clowns before going to Major League baseball. The Negro League Museum patch is present at the bottom of the jersey.
