Sterling Weighted Creamer and Sugar Bowl

A sterling weighted sugar bowl and creamer. This quaint pair feature old fashioned trophy-handle styling and simple ribbed trim around the rim, the bowl, the pedestal flare and foot, as well as on the handles. The hallmark on both reads ‘Sterling’, the creamer stamp reads , the mark of Mueck -Carey Co. of New York, NY circa 1940’s and 1950’s. The sugar bowl’s stamp shows a crown, H inside a square, and a two per saltire crest. This mark belongs to M. Fred Hirsch Co Inc, Jersey City, NJ, 1920-1945.
