Vintage Hoosier Style Cabinet with Chrome Trim and Handles

A vintage Hoosier-style cabinet that was designed to address the lack of storage space in many kitchens in the early 1900s. The Hoosier Manufacturing Co. popularized this type of cabinet that came to be known by the company’s name, despite quick adoption by other cabinet manufacturers. This white two piece cabinet includes a hanging top hutch unit with three large storage cabinets with shelving, wood frame and chrome rounded handles. The lower base unit features a large back splash with wide chrome trim and counter top surface, a metal lined bread drawer with decorative sliding lid and built in drawer dividers. The base features three additional drawers and large open cabinets with shelving, wood construction and chrome rounded handle pulls. The cabinet sits on a plinth base.

Condition
This is a vintage item and shows signs of use evidenced by finish and paint loss, counter top hard surface appears to have been removed. There does appear to be some signs of possibly water or moisture along the base side and platform. Structurally this item is in good condition from the wood frame to the chrome trim, handles and hardware. This item would benefit from cleaning, sanding and paint.
