Original Oil Paintings by Indiana's Trover, Fullen and Griffith
Item Details
A group of four original oil paintings by Indiana artists that share an Outdoor theme. Three of the paintings have vintage frames and one is unframed stretched canvas. The works included are the unframed piece signed Trover (1915-2002), a framed Lorenz Griffith (1889-1986) on board, a framed covered bridge painting by Herschel E. Fullen, and a framed canvas work depicting snowy mountains, signed Trover. The Artists Joseph Trover, Lorenz Griffith and Herschel Fullen were Brown County, Indiana residents that shared in a 1920s-1950s art gallery partnership called ‘the Brown County Art Barn Salon’, and their works are highly regarded.
Condition
Overall good condition, may need cleaning from long-term storage.
