Vintage German Beer Stein

A vintage plaster cast German beer stein which appears to be hand signed illegibly and dated 73’ underneath the images in relief. This stein reads I Mag Di Leiden to one side and I Hab Di Gar So Gern, two version of ‘I like you’, and depicts a sweet german couple on a stroll through a pictaresque scene in relief glazed with a green. The mug has a wide base and tapering shape to the opening with a figural knotty branch acting as the handle.

Condition

- some crazing to the piece, chip to the glaze near rim, needs cleaning
