Antique Russian Soup Tureen
Item Details
An antique copper-bottomed soup tureen, from the age of Napoleon I. This tureen has a note attached (in French) which states that it was brought back from Russia by veterans of Napoleon after their visit to Russia in 1811. The lid has ‘FA 1811’ engraved on top. The piece is heavy pewter and shows signs of its use and age.
Condition
Normal condition for age and use.
