Artisan "Sacagwea" Porcelain Doll By Norma Williamson Kuntz

Item Details

This offering brings ‘Sacagwea’, a beautiful 1998 porcelain artisan doll from Grandma’s Dolls, skillfully designed and created by doll artist Norma Willamson Kuntz. ‘Sacagwea’ is hand poured and hand painted, with finely sculpted features. She wears traditional Native American clothing of a leather tunic, leggings, and moccasins. Her baby is carried on her back in a leather cradle board. She has what appears to be real human hair tied with leather thongs, and comes with a wooden display stand. She includes a certificate of authenticity from Grandma’s Dolls stating she is one of 250 ‘Sacagwea’ dolls produced. This is such a finely crafted and beautiful doll that pictures just don’t do her justice.
