The Hammond Multiplex Open (Ideal keyboard), model # 12 is a wonderful vintage piece with semi-circular key-board mounted on wooden base with fitted wooden cover.
The Hammond 12, a machine that looked almost identical to the earlier models, was the first typewriter with a ribbon vibrator on top of the turret, turning the Hammond into a visible writer.

Condition

Good for age, the case has veneer damage to top.
