Metal Elk Sculpture

Item Details

A sculpture of a male elk with an impressive rack of antlers, cast in a lightweight metal (possibly aluminum) with a bronze tone patina or paint job. The animal stands in grass and has its mouth open as if uttering a cry. The sculpture stands on an oval wood base with a gold tone plaque reading ‘The Herd Bull’, along with the name of the artist and the number of the piece in its series: Bradford Williams, 715/1250. Condition

- there are hairline cracks around the base of the antlers; they are currently securely attached but care should still be taken when moving the piece.
