Vintage Al Robi Linocut of an Owl
Item Details
A vintage Al Robi (New York, 1922- ) linocut of an owl, signed in the right quadrant and numbered, 50/150. Robi’s linocuts are noted by the many layers of inks which create a textural effect of broken colors. The piece is double matted and framed. A brief artist biography is affixed to the verso.
Condition
the image is good and the frame is good, the back paper is badly torn, however, very easy to replace.
